Green Lacy tea cosy, Thermal tea cosy in shades of green and blue with patchwork detail. Lace trimming around the base and across the handle and a row of white lace daisies hand sewn on the front. Ideal for 2 pint / one litre / 4-6 cup teapots.
This tea cozy is double insulated . First a layer of combination Mylar heat-resistant film and hollow polyester fibers. Second a layer of thick 211 gsm thermal wadding.
Perfect for keeping your tea hot or your iced tea cold. See final photo for an experiment I did to see how long it would stay hot using a litre sized pot and cosy
This is a vintage upholstery cotton fabric unused until now. The lining a thick warm looking linen cotton mix.

Washing Recommendations:
Hand wash using cool water and a mild detergent Leave for 15 minutes. Squeeze out excess moisture by rolling in a dry towel or allow to drip dry, dry flat if possible.
