Fly Agaric in Pastel

I have just finished this Fly Agaric in Pastel painting (drawing?), using Rebelle which I mentioned in a previous blog.  It is based on an old photo of mine and the benefit of drawing or painting is that you can repair all the slug eaten holes!  Just as with physical pastels you can smudge the colours together, but without getting dust everywhere.  The differing tools and settings allow for various shapes and pressure, again just as with physical pastel sticks.

This is my latest piece, a trio of Fly Agaric Toadstools and will be available as prints and cards – if you would like one before I have it added to my shop just let me know.  I can print any size from 3 x 5 inches up to A2.

I did wonder about trying to paint fairies on the top, what do you think?
