Fairytale tea cosy for large teapot
This Fairytale tea cosy cottage in shades of reddish purple, purple and mauve with pastel coloured flowers will delight all lovers of pretty little fairy tale and magical things. This tea cosy is for a large four cup teapot. It is covered in flowers and leaves, vintage beads and toadstools. The butterfly on the roof is crocheted using cotton. The door knocker is made from a vintage clip on earring
Take a look at all the pictures as they show each side. The teapot mat shown is also included and has a little door-mat and a green fence all around..
It has been hand crocheted from acrylic yarn and the central part of the base also includes a wool mix.
These tea cosies take many hours as each element has to be created and then attached, but I love the result – don’t you?
The teapot is not included.
Washing: I would recommend a very gentle hand wash due to beads on this teacozy.
Fairytale tea cosy for large teapot is not a toy and should not be used by children due to the small beads and crochet leaves and flowers.
This is the perfect tea-cosy for any tea lover’s kitchen, it is unique. I don’t work from a pattern so as there will never be another one exactly like it, it will be a great talking point for you and your guests.
I have other fairy tea cosies available or can sometimes make one with the main cottage in colours of your choice.
