Description
Cerise and White Tea Cosy to fit a standard 1 litre (2 pint) teapot with hand embellishments including rose ribbon handle, bead, sequins and embroidery. This tea cozy is insulated with one layer of combination of Mylar heat-resistant film and hollow polyester fibers plus one layer of thick 211 gsm thermal wadding. Perfect for keeping your tea hot or your iced tea cold.
The final photo shows the thickness (before I top-stitched the base). There is a matching button on the back to hold the mat and pot holder and another one inside should you wish to store them inside the tea cosy.
Why have a pot holder you may ask – when a teapot has been kept warm inside it’s cosy the handle can get very hot and it can be nice to have something to protect your fingers.
The front of the cosy has sequins and a pretty bead at the centre of the flower and there is hand embroidery around the petals in different shades of pink. The top has a pretty rose shaped ribbon handle should you wish to use it to lift your cosy off the pot.

Cosy – 12 inch / 31 cm across the front. Internal circumference 24 inch / 62 cm Internal height 7 inch/18 cm
Mat – 5 inch / 13 cm (made up of two layers of wadding and one layer of the Mylar combination inside)
Holder – 6 x 4.4 inch / 15 x 10 cm (one layer of Mylar combination)
Washing Recommendations:
Hand wash using cool water and a mild detergent Leave for 15 minutes. Squeeze out excess moisture by rolling in a dry towel or allow to drip dry, dry flat if possible.
