Tuesday 7th April
The primroses and daffodils are looking fabulous at the moment – probably due to the lack of wind and rain that so often batters them around at this time of year. As rain is forecast over the next few days I thought I had better get out and take some photographs before it is too late.

Sunday 5th April
The gardens there are now officially open and the difference in just a few weeks is astounding with all the daffodils out and the tulips just coming into flower. The are lots of Snakes Head Fritillaries appearing all over the garden – whether they have all been planted or are self seeding I have no idea but they are beautiful flowers

Another plant that was standing out was a little Saxifrage (Saxifraga arendsii)
